Terms & Conditions – Compare Your Parking Space

Introduction

Compare Your Parking Space (CYPS) operates as a booking agent, linking customers with independent airport parking providers. We do not own, manage, or control any car parks. The responsibility for the safe handling of your vehicle and the delivery of parking services lies entirely with the chosen service provider.

By accessing our website and completing a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions as well as the terms of the parking provider you select. We strongly recommend that you review the provider’s own terms before making a reservation.

These Terms are governed by English law and apply from the time your booking confirmation email is issued. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full effect.

CYPS reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will only apply to new bookings; the Terms in place at the time of your booking remain valid.

Bookings

  • Customers must carefully review all service provider details before confirming a booking.
  • A booking becomes valid once you receive a confirmation email with a booking reference.
  • If you do not receive confirmation, contact us immediately to avoid cancellations or missed reservations.
  • CYPS may cancel bookings if a provider is unable to fulfil the service. In such cases, a full refund will be processed, but we will not accept liability for indirect costs such as missed flights or travel expenses.
  • Bookings are non-transferable and must be made in the traveller’s name.
  • CYPS is a comparison service only and does not itself provide parking.

Saver & Mystery Deals

  • For Saver or Mystery products, parking location details are revealed only after payment.
  • Dissatisfaction with these products does not qualify for a refund outside of the standard cancellation policy.
  • If a provider fails to deliver the service, we will assist in securing an alternative or refund where possible.
  • Customers booking Saver or Mystery products acknowledge that full details are disclosed only after purchase.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure all personal and booking details provided are accurate.
  • Follow the provider’s check-in instructions and keep your booking confirmation for verification.
  • Do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Some providers may deactivate dashcams or trackers for security reasons.
  • Vehicles may be relocated between secure compounds for operational reasons. Customers with specific needs should confirm arrangements directly with the provider before booking.

Prices & Payments

  • All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and apply to advance online bookings.
  • A non-refundable booking fee is included in all reservations.
  • Payments are accepted by debit/credit card or PayPal and processed securely via third-party providers.
  • The name of the payment processor may appear on your bank statement instead of CYPS.
  • Declined payments may result in automatic cancellation.

  • Providers may charge additional fees such as:
                               Terminal forecourt fees
                               Late collection charges
                               Oversized vehicle supplements

VAT receipts – As an agent, CYPS cannot issue VAT invoices. However, we can liaise with the provider to obtain one where applicable.


Amendments & Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be requested by email or phone during office hours.
  • Bookings cancelled 48+ hours before drop-off will be refunded minus a £15 admin fee (unless cancellation cover was purchased).
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of drop-off or for no-shows.
  • Discounted, Saver, or Mystery deals may have stricter cancellation conditions.

Amendment Policy

  • Changes made within 48 hours of drop-off incur a £15 fee.
  • Amendments after vehicle handover must be arranged directly with the provider.
  • Extending a stay may result in additional charges payable to the provider.

Cancellation Cover

  • If purchased, cancellation cover allows full refunds up to 48 hours before drop-off (booking fee excluded).
  • Cover does not apply to same-day bookings or restricted-rate products.

Accuracy of Information

  • Information displayed on CYPS is provided by third-party providers.
  • While we strive for accuracy, details may change. Customers should confirm essential information directly with providers before booking.
  • Any inaccuracies reported will be corrected promptly.

Service Provider Responsibilities

  • CYPS does not inspect, verify, or guarantee the security standards of listed providers.
  • Vehicles must be roadworthy at drop-off.
  • Providers may move vehicles between compounds for security or operational purposes.
  • Additional charges (e.g., oversized vehicles, late collections, or extensions) are payable directly to the provider.

Insurance & Liability

  • Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.
  • CYPS accepts no responsibility for:
                 Loss or damage to vehicles or their contents
                 Theft or vandalism
                 Delays or service issues caused by providers
  • Customers are advised not to leave valuables in vehicles and should ensure appropriate insurance is in place.
  • CYPS’s liability for booking errors is limited to the amount paid for the reservation, except where statutory rights apply.

Complaints

Service-Related Complaints

  • If an issue arises with the parking service, complaints should be raised directly with the provider.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, CYPS may help facilitate communication but cannot guarantee outcomes.

Data & Communication

Personal data is collected for booking purposes and may be shared only with providers or payment processors. Customers agree to receive booking confirmations and may also receive promotional updates, which can be unsubscribed from at any time.

  • CYPS does not endorse or inspect providers listed on our site.
  • Parking is always at the customer’s own risk.
  • Customers must confirm service details directly with providers before travel.

Agreement & Acceptance

By completing a booking with Compare Your Parking Space, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, as well as the provider’s own terms.

CYPS acts solely as a booking intermediary and is not responsible for the direct provision of parking services.
